REGION Details - Cartersville HS

• 8:15am girls meet in student lot
• 8:30am breakfast on the bus (fruit and chick fil a)
• 10am REGION competition begins - it will be packed so don't arrive late or you won't get a seat!
• 10:50am KMHS goes to warm-up
• This should be an exciting event... don't miss it!

STATE Heads Up - Columbus - Nov 7/8

• 7pm Monday in room 523 - MANDITORY parent only meeting - if you do not attend then your cheerleader will not go to state...
• 11:45am Thursday, Nov 6 - leave KMHS for state

SENIOR Night Football Events...

BRING BOTH COMPLETE UNIFORMS TO SCHOOL FRIDAY! YOU WILL NOT CHEER IF I DO NOT HAVE BOTH UNIFORMS AT 3:40PM... That means I need you to turn in the top/skirt for the "K" uniform and the top/skirt for the halter uniform. NO EXCUSES!

• 7:50am meet in rm523 for breakfast and peprally w/pompoms - wear new jersey w/blk underarmor and jeans
• 3:40pm meet in rm523 for pre-game meeting and game details
• 4pm decorate locker room
• 4:15 - 5pm tape run thru and get everything ready for the game
• 5pm- 5:30pm eat dinner - THANKS MS. TERESA!
• 5:30 - 6:30pm get ready for game - WEAR jersey w/underarmor and "K" skirt - I will give you skull socks and a new BOW
• BRING WARM-UP PANTS AND SWEATSHIRT! Its all or none at the game!
• 6:30pm go to field for SENIOR Night football game
• 7:30pm Kick-off
• 10pm post game meeting and dismissal
• 10:30pm go home and go to bed - NOW all you competition cheerleaders!

Saturday, November 1 - REGION @ Cartersville

• 8:15am meet at bottom of hill in student parking lot (bus is drop off only)
• 9am check in at Cartersville for REGION competition
• 10am REGION competition begins

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE JUDGES CONTROL THE PACE OF COMPETITIONS - NOT ME - I pass along as much info to you as possible so you are as informed as I am - all times I report to you are estimates from the tournament director - the actual competition may run faster/slower depending on injuries, illness, or slow judging... all situations are compeltely out of my control... Thanks for understanding...

SATURDAY Competition @ Woodstock HS

1. 12:15pm meet in KMHS student lot at the bottom of the hill
2. wear KMHS WARM-UP w/peach cheetah shirt - no excuses!
3. bring your appropriate ipod music - I have purchased us a new BOSE speaker system
4. 12:30pm leave KMHS
5. 1pm arrive at Woodstock HS
6. BE SURE TO BRING: uniform skirt/top; bloomers; infinitys; black socks and NO SHOW socks just in case; green sparkle bow; bobbypins; hair ties; hair spray; flat iron; make-up
7. CUT YOUR HOMECOMING NAILS OFF!!!!!! Or I will do it for you!!!!

Due to the late competition this week (and thinking it thru) we have decided to wait and go to 6Flags after Region next week (Nov 1).

We will leave right from the Region competition in Cartersville (Nov 1) ~11am and come home ~6pm... many cheer groups have gone over the past few weeks during the day and I have not heard of any bad reports. We will travel around the park as a group... my husband and I will be the adults in charge and we welcome any other parents to come along too... Several of the girls have passes and a free ticket - we will work out the passes/free tickets this week.

FRIDAY East Paulding UPDATE

FRIDAY @ EAST PAULDING - will be a cold and wet -rainy game! I will try to get you each a pair of gloves and ski headband for your ears 'cuz they will be cold!!!!

Parents: instead of water we would love you to bring us HOT CHOCOLATE!!!! Just a suggestion!

• 7:50am breakfast in rm523 - wear black hoodie w/jeans or our "uniform" warm-ups - pompoms - lockerroom signs
• 3:40pm meet in rm523 and gather stuff for lockerroom
• 4pm decorate lockerroom
• 4:15 to 5pm - get stuff ready for the game... tape run-thru; get megaphones and flag; get rain jacket assigned
• 5pm eat dinner
• 5:15pm - 6pm SUIT UP for the game
• GAME ATTIRE: Silver Sparkle Bow; uniform warm-up pants; black hoodie and under armor; ANY OTHER WARM CLOTHES YOU CAN FIT UNDERNEATH... I suggest you wear an old pair of WHITE CHEER shoes so your infinitys don't get messed up...
• 6pm get on bus and travel up to EAST PAULDING HS
• 7:30pm FREEZING COLD KICK OFF
• ~10:30pm arrive back at KMHS for post game meeting and dismissal

• 3:30pm meet in gym lobby, change into uniform and we will walk to Big Shanty to take pics by BellaBlue - competition team is first - then ALL ages competition individuals - jv and frosh football individuals to follow
• ALSO - VFB will take one more calendar pic for Doyle's Landscaping
• as soon as pics are done walk back to KMHS and we will have a short "clean up" practice -no matter what we will be done by 6pm (earlier if we can)...
• Practice wear blue tee w/white shorts

• After competition we will meet back at KMHS and go to FRIGHT FEST for a manditory bonding event for Vcomp/VFB - I need a couple of parent volunteers to drop off/pick up - text or email Coach G if your parent can drive

HOMECOMING FRIDAY DETAILS for VARSITY FOOTBALL CHEAERLEADERS

1. 2:45pm dismiss from class and meet Coach G in room 301
2. 3pm Decorate the locker room
3. 3:30pm get in uniform for the game
4. 4pm - eat dinner in cafeteria w/football team
5. 4:30pm report to the football stadium to help decorate
   BRING POMPOMS, MEGAPHONES, SPIRIT FLAG AND RUN THRU TO THE STADIUM AT THIS TIME
6. 5:15pm walk over to Big Shanty Park - the rally point for the parade
   BRING POMPOMS
7. 5:45pm parade begins
8. 6:45pm arrive at the stadium and get ready for the game
9. 7:30pm Kick Off
10. 10pm post game meeting and dismissal

Great Job This Weekend!

Friday we cheered our Mustang Football Team to victory at Cherokee HS!!!! Special Thanks to Kaitlyn Okeefe for lending a hand in many extra game chores - with out being asked to help and taking up the slack of our resident "slackers"!!! Congrats Kaitlyn for being this weeks MVC!!!

And way to cheer Competition Team! You girls toughed it out - hurried around carrollton - and pulled out a MUSTANG VICTORY! You earned that 1st place trophy! I am proud of you all!

Enjoy this week - it will be a light one with regard to practice. Be READY to practice every day over the next couple of weeks so we can head in to Region at the top of our game!

8. ~4pm KMHS goes to warm up

11. Immediately following the competition we will go to eat dinner and then head back to KMHS.
